RADIOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTIC OF BONE LUMBAR CANAL STENOSIS

Abstract

Stenosis of bone lumbar canal: congenital, in the growing period or acquired
one is possible to be recognized even on standard vertebrograms.
Segment or polytop stenosls of central canal and lateral recesses is manifested
by reduced diameters: anterio-postcrior and frontal ones. lrregular and asymetric
interlaminar spaces, narrowed and dcformed intcrvertebral foramina and pathOlogical
changes of apophyscal joints as well as disharmonious lumbosacral vertebr3l
spine 4ndicate the existence of stenotic areas.
Such findings require additional radiological treatment: tomography, computorized
tomography, myelography ev. and r acliculography.
