Abstract

41 (25 women and 16 men) ahronic low back pain pa,tients were included in this
study.
To evalua.te effect of high frequency pulse magnetotherapy the subjeotive parameters
(pain intensilty at rest, standing and gait) were rated f11orn O to 3. The objective
parameters (1umbar inclination and reclination and fingertips - floor di.stance
in cm) were also observed. The parameters were evaluated before and after the
therapy whlich lasied 14 days (each day 30 minutes). The patients were included in
therapeutic ex,periment at random.
The si~nificant improvement ofmeann values of pairi intensilty at rest, standing
and gait was iohiieved. Mean values of inclination and reclination at the end of the
therapy were increased, but not significantly. The same was with fingertijp-floor
distance values.
There were no side effects.
