TEDxKoprivnicaLibrary – big ideas in a small town

Abstract

Since May 2013 the Public library Fran Galovic Koprivnica has become a part of the large TED community. By organizing TEDxKoprivnicaLibrary events, the library, as an institution that provides access to knowledge and information, has supported the movement of “ideas worth spreading” in the core of which is spreading the access to knowledge and information. The practice has shown that even in the small town, like Koprivnica, great ideas can be spread successfully and that the library is an ideal place for a TEDx event to happen.
