Abstract

Avulsion injuries are caused by trauma and are characterized by avulsion of cutaneous and subcutaneous tissue from deeper structures compromising viability of such tissue. Because of that and the possibility of other complications, they represent a problem and challenge for the surgeon in their treatment. one of the options of treatment is to convert the avulsed lap into a graft by defatting, meshing and re-adapting it to its original site. This technique is easily applicable in daily practice, even in inirmary, and gives good results.
