Abstract

a>rd a vahcable contribulion t o the i»ter»atio»al contempo>.
ary naive arts. I t i s » l ostly characterized by fa»tas>
ie-symbolic contents, n ith some individua/s, though, u >hose
»orks have natura/istic featrcres too. The for»>er strongly
indicate their f i r>n linkage to their do»lici/e, i>npact of the
rich nafional spirit legacy, specific relations towavd popular
arts, particularly co»cer»i»g co»l>non sy»>bo/s, bret also
disco>ering o»n sun>bo/s, and use of a t r adi t ianal matevia/
— uoođ. Most pro>nine»t vepvesentati> es of the fanlaslic-
sumbolic sc»lpl>creare Bogosa> ži»ković, Mi lan and
Dragiša Stanisav/je>ić, and Drag>>tin Aleksić. A pillar, taken
over from ancient, n>ost probah/u Slavic cultures, is a basic
co>n>non form of expression in al/ these i»di>idualists. C> ijo
