Making Sense of the Present: Citizenship and Democracy in Postemotional and Postcommunism Societies

Abstract
Postemotionalism claims transcending the modernist-postmodernist debate by focusing on the pragmatic and real as opposed to purely academic concepts of democracy and citizenship. Autor's analyses refers particularly to the comparative aspects of postemotional publics and leaders in USA, Western Europe and in postcommunist societies.
