The importance of ventilatory tests for evaluating ventilatory lung capacity

Abstract
The importance of applying some ventilatory tests in clinical and epidemiological studies and of evaluating results in respect to normal values is discussed. Own results are also presented and compared to those of other authors. The usefulness of certain tests for discovering early and advanced impairments of pulmonary ventilation is assessed.
