Abstract

A collection of art treasures dating from the period between the 13th to the 18th century has been preserved by the Cathedral Treasury at Trogir. The collection includes reliquiaries, chalices, candle-sticks, illuminated manuscripts, church garments adorned with embroidery, pearls, etc. The authoress, publishing the oldest known list of objects kept by the treasury in 1517, tries to recognize those object that have survived until this day. The 17th and 18th century lists of objects are also mentioned, as well as the more important literature where such objects are referred to.
