Abstract

With intent to establish the nutrition effect with high moist corn grain and cob (Corn Cob Meal) in sown nutrition the determined investigations were carried out. According to results of volume, efficiency and economy of animal production the following conclusions may be drawn: Average total sows increment during the period of gestation, on the meals with artificial dried corn, high moist silaged corn grain and cob (Corn-cob Meal), by consumption of 2 kg nutrient daily per head, on the basis of 13% moisture, was practicaly the same: 28,0; 28,5 and 27,9 kg, and consumption for kg piglets was 7,8; 7,7 and 7,9 kg with the same sequence. There were no differences in average number of alive farrowed, 9,6; 9,9 and 9,8 and
weaned piglets in litter 8,2; 8,0 and 8,5 on particular meals used in the experiment for sows nutrition period with high moist silaged corn grain or cob, there were also no differences in average days number from weaning about insemenation of sows, in percent of sows gestation as well as in number of alive born piglets in litter on particular meals. On meals with high moist silaged corn grain or cob is expressed the tendency for higher protein, fat and cellulose digestibility in relation to meal with artificial dried corn. Animal production on meals with high moist silaged corn grain or cob is cheaper and more economical in relation to meal with artificial dried corn due to inexpensive costs of corn conservation.
