BREEDING AND ECONOMIC EVALUATION OF YOUNG SIMMENTAL BULLS BY VARIOUS SELECTION INDICES

Abstract
In the paper three groups of young bulls by were analysed performance test. For each bull three indices were estimated (Iн, Iв₁ and Iв₂). Correlation coefficient between lн and lв₁ was 0.76, between lн and lв₂ 0.86, and between Iв₁ and Iв₂ it was much higher (0.98). Ranking of the bulls varied according to three indices applied.
