Abstract

The influence of nine bulls from two veterinary stock breeding centres, Banja Luka (5) and Osijek (4), on weight at birth of 463 calves at the mountain cattle farm at TomislavGrad in 1988 was analysed. The data are presented separately for each bull and for male and female calves, and both male and female calves together.
By analysinq two variances of double classification it was established that a highly siqnificant influelnce (P<0,01) of bulls, sex, male and female calves per bulls and centres on the weight of calves at birth existed.
