PROTEIN VALUE OF SOYBEAN AND DECELLULOSED SUNFLOWER MEAL IN BROILER FEEDING

Abstract

The nutritive value of three experimental starter mashes for broilers:
1. Corn - soybean meal mash, without amino acids;
2. Corn - soybean meal mash + DL - Methionine;
3. Corn - decellulosed sunflower meal mash + L' lysine HCI (Tables 1 and 2). Mash 1 was of the poorest nutritive value and mash 3 had the best nutritive value. The dffferences found in weight gain are significant (P<0,05). lt was shown that protein combination of decellulosed sunflower meal + L' lysine HCI is the ideal source of amino acids for broilers (Table 3).
