Abstract
The paper presents the results of a field research of a new prototype of lawntool “roller aerator PT-160B” which were conducted in a vineyard in the area of Žumberak, the Republic of Croatia. Average depths of perforations at wheel ruts sites as well as in the central part of space between rows were measured as follows: unladen tool, tool loaded with 200 kg and loaded with 400 kg, with peripheral speed of 1.6; 2.3 and 3.2 m/s. The most efficient work performance and work quality “PT-160B” tool achieves at the highest peripheral speed of 3.2 m/s (which approximately corresponds to operating tool speed of 12 km/h) and the highest tool load of 400 kg.
