Abstract
For the last five years there were regularly registered damages on leek grown in the Republic of Macedonia caused by the attack of pathogen Puccinia porri (Sow.) Wint. – the cause of rust.
During the years of 2007 and 2008 we performed the experiments of chemical protection of leek by fungicides. According to the obtained results from the performed experiments, the highest index of efficiency was noticed with the fungicides Bumper 25 EC and Benomil WP 50 in a combination. The efficiency index in 2007 was 79.58% and in 2008 it was 79.43%.
