Abstract
Evaluating the deadline for fruit picking has a more practical meaning because it influence the quality of fruit, and the storing and transport qualities of it. Early fruit picking is harmful since fruits have not yet achieved their full size, they don’t have their real colour and they contain less sugar and other nutritious components. If fruit picking is late, the fruits will fall down and be damaged, their storing and transport qualities will be reduced, especially if they are transported to more distant areas. Apart from that, the fruits don’t taste that well. In some sorts of pears and summer apples the fruits become like flour if they are not picked on time.
