Abstract

If we know what factors influence high crops and what optimum conditions for growing certain vegetables are, and combine this knowledge with technical eqipment, it will enable us to grow many vegetable plants in climatically unfavourable part of the year or in areas where growing these plants is not possible in open areas. This is why protected areas are built.
All types and ways of protecting plants from unfavourable conditions can be defined as a protected area, covered with transparent material. in these areas it is possible to less or more change vegetation factors ( temperature, light, moist of the air and soil, composition of the soil and air ). The main purpose of protected areas is - temporary protection of plants from cold or frost (early spring, late autumn), production of plant material or growing culture throughout the whole vegetation period, from harvest of plant to picking.
