Abstract

This paper describes a difficult case of a patient with a panic disorder that persisted for ten years. The aim of the paper is to present cognitive-behavioral concepts on a case of combined psychotherapy and medication treatment which resulted in the disappearance of panic attacks and lack of symptoms, which persisted even after the occurrence of a physical and life threatening illness in the family.
