Abstract

The species C. hungarica has been known so far in Croatia from 101 localities, while for the Baranja region it has not been reported yet. During the latest flo-ristic research (1998.), 30 new localities of the species C. hungarica have been discovered in the territory of Croatia. Out of this number, most habitats are in the Slavonia and Baranja regions, in total 22. In the Baranja region there were registered 15 new habitats of the species C. hungarica out of total 19 analyzed lo-
calities. In 10 localities, the presence of the species C. sanguínea and the species C. hungarica was registered, while in four localities the presence of the species C. hungarica has not been noticed at all. In all localities where these two species grow together, the hybrids resembling more or less one parent or the other have been noticed. The new habitats for the territory of Croatia are shown in Table 1. and Fig. 1.
