Agranulocytosis caused by exposure to insecticides

Abstract

A case of agranulocytosis caused by exposure to organophosphorous and carbamate insecticides is reported. Hematotoxic action of these pesticides. though recorded, is very rare. A characteristic clinical course is described and hematological findings are presented. The patient fully recovered after the treatment.
