Degenerative diseases of joints and spine of occupational and environmental origin

Abstract

After a brief survey of the etiopathogenesis, symptomatology and socioeconomic significance of degenerative diseases of the joints and spine possible adverse effects of occupation and environment on their occurrence and development are dealt with in more detail. Special emphasis is laid on stereotypies, vibrations and microtraumas and on insufficient motility of the joints and spine.
