Abstract

During September and October 2015 geophysical research was conducted at the Bronze Age site Kurilovec-Belinščica, supported by the Ministry of Culture. The programme was partially realized in the period between 2011 and 2013 in order to create a digital model of the terrain. Geophysical research in 2015 was undertaken by Branko Mušič, PhD from GEARH Ltd. using the magnetic method to measure an area of around 3200 m2. The research aims to complement the existing data from previous non-invasive research, particularly with regard to extremely low and extremely high elevation zones on the site (Kudelić et al. 2013). The measures confirm considerable changes in the northern section in both areas, while there are less pronounced anomalies on the south side, according to preliminary results. There is extreme regularity in Area 1, perpendicular to the direction of the researched area and points to the possibility of an anthropogenic formation of large dimensions.
