Abstract
The Festival of Science was held in 18 Croatian cities on April 18-24, 2016. The city of Split and its University were among the cities and institutions that decided to promote the world of science to the people. The Faculty of Maritime Studies was presented by two lectures:
• Ship on the Waves in the Library Marko Marulić
• The History of the Croatian Shipbuilding Industry on the school sailing ship Queen of the Sea.
