Abstract

Evaluation of agronomic traits of grain and forage sorghum hybrids was performed in 2012 at PP Kompleks Nova Gradiška and in 2013 on the experimental field of University of Zagreb, Faculty of Agriculture. In 2012, the study involved four hybrids of grain sorghum: Aralba, Solarius, Fulgus and Marcus and four hybrids of forage sorghum: KWS Zerberus, KWS Inka, H 133 and H 140. In 2013, the study involved only grain sorghum hybrids. In both years, hybrids Marcus and Fulgus achieved significantly highest grain yield and harvest index. Forage sorghum hybrids H 140 and H 133 achieved the highest yield of fresh weight (83.29 t/ha and 80.56 t/ha, respectively) and dry matter yield (22.09 t/ha and 22.08 t/ha, respectively).
