Abstract

This text is the analysis of the morphonological characteristics common to all north-western cakavian dialects spoken in the area surrounding the cakavian region. Compared to typical realisation in dialects spoken in the north-western cakavian area there are two morphonological characteristics, hyperikavism in word with the pronominal declension and the changing -/ > -u/-v/-[f], to which we can associate two morphological realisation, the instrumental case of feminine noun words with the ending -u in singular and the usage of the pronoun kaj and its compounds (only in a few dialects spoken in the mentioned surrounding area).
