Abstract

Phytophthora sojae is one of the most destructive pathogens of soybean in the world. First findings of this fungus-like organism in Croatia are described in this paper. Methods of isolation and identification on the basis of morphological features and molecular technique are presented. Disease symptoms and losses on soybean caused by P. sojae on various locations in Croatia are described.
