Abstract

Twospotted spider mite Tetranychus urticae (Koch) and tomato russet mite Aculops lycopersici (Masse) are cosmopolitan pests. Both species are extremely polyphagous and have been reported on numerous host plants, including tomato. In a very short period of time can cause a lot of damage so it is necessary to implement a variety of measures, including chemical control. Without continuous monitoring, it is not possible to protect tomato from mites, which can cause great damage.
