Abstract

In recent years, cultivation of blueberries is increasing in some regions of Croatia, but cultivated areas are still small. As experience of growers worldwide showed, blueberries are susceptible to attack by large number of pathogens (fungi, bacteria, viruses, etc.), causing various diseases which can severely harm the production. In this paper, among more important diseases of blueberries, anthracnose, gray mould, root rot and canker of blueberries will be presented, since those, according to our observations, appear more often in blueberry plantations.
