Abstract

The Marun Collection, held in the Archaeological
Museum in Split, was formed after Marun’s retirement.
It consists of numismatic materials, metallic
finds, gems dating to Classical Antiquity, pottery and
ethnographic materials. This work consists of an analysis
of some of the numismatic materials that date to
the Roman imperial period. Specifically, these are 82
coins, of which the oldest dates to the reign of Augustus
and the youngest to the reign of Valentinian II.
