Abstract

Compared to the generally known Croatian features in the dialect of the village Hlohovec in the Czech Republic (non-existence of phone ř; morphological form of 1st p. sg. 'budem' x Czech 'budu') we have also registered some lexems that without doubt demonstrate the connection of the present dialect of Hlohovec with the dialect of the original Croatian colonists.
On the maps in the 'Czech Linguistics Atlas' (I, 1992) they appear as expressions that are sporadic and isolated -from the territorial point of view without any relation to other lexems
