Abstract

Professional and scientific debates on the effectiveness of different models of delivery of public projects last for a long time. More intensive concessions and, in particular the public-private partnership (PPP) developed in the early nineties of the last century. Professional and scientific community analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the model in relation to others. Value for taxpayers’ money, thereby, becomes a fundamental criterion for assessing the effectiveness of delivery models. This research, consisted of ten PPP projects in Croatia. Those projects are eight years in running phase, and for them it can be concluded that the value for money could be achieved.
