Marking the 120th Anniversary of the Foundation of the first Rijeka Museum. Presentation of the Monograph "From the museum's treasury" and the opening of the Exhibition "120 years - 120 objects"

Abstract

At the end of December 2013, the Maritime and Historical
Museum of the Hrvatsko primorje Region in Rijeka in the
exhibition 120 Years – 120 Objects and the monograph From
the Museum’s Treasury commemorated 120 years of work
from the foundation of the first museum – the Museo Civico,
and the same length of organised museum activity in Rijeka.
The exhibition and monograph gave an account of the finest
objects from the four departments of the museum – the
Archaeological, Ethnographic, Cultural History and Maritime
History sections and presented the long museum past, and
present, of Rijeka museums through the museum objects.
