Abstract

For several years now, QR codes have been put to use in
Croatia to revitalise the cultural historical heritage and to
create tourist attractions. The paper provides a survey of the
use of the QR code in museum projects as well.
In the Museum of Brod Posavlje, QR codes have been component parts of publications. In 2015 they were first involved in the set-up of the exhibition Knemida / Greave – 40
Years Since the Discovery. Other novelties then were that
the objects were documented with 3D scanning (the first
object documented in this way was from the holdings of the
Museum of Brod Posavlje) and with 3D animation, which the
user could view at the exhibition.
