Determination of calcium with a mixed indicator

Abstract

A mixed indicator for chelometric determination of calcium prepared by mixing Fluorexone (Calcein) and Murexide has been tested. It has been shown by comparison with Fluorexone alone, that this mixed indicator gives a sharper end point. The method has been applied to soil vegetetion and sea-water.
