Abstract

This paper presents the preliminary results of examination of the Pavlova pećina site in the Hrvatsko zagorje region. At the site, numerous archeological and animal remains were found in a very small surface, dating from prehistory, Classical Antiquity and the Middle Ages. The most interesting finds include a Roman lamp dated to the end of the first or beginning of the second century, and a rim fragment of Litzen pottery decorated with seven stripes. Additionally, two medieval knives and a fragment of a bronze needle were found.
