Some important areas of action of the Spirit of God in the Bible

Abstract

The paper analyses the most important areas of the work of the Holy Spirit in the Bible, the creation, the emergence, the covenants of the alliance, the judges, the prophets, the Babylonian exile. Particularly emphasized are the main features of the work of the Spirit of God: the creative force, the lifeblood, the rebellious power, the Paraklet, the liberating and unifying power of God. A special section devoted to the action of the Spirit of God in crisis situations with an emphasis on Ezekiel’s image of resuscitation of dry bones.
