Abstract

Contemporary business requirements include support of an appropriate information system. Such information systems are a essential prerequisite and are based on computer technology since long ago. Today's high requirements for efficiency in function of organizational systems of any kind, together with the need for best usage of available built environment result in the need for implementation of a information system which would support it. In case those two information systems are not planned and implemented as a unified solution, links between them need to be established later. In this paper the reasons which make such a linking necessary, and some approaches to establish the links are given. One possible solution to the problem with the description of the functionality of the resulting system, are also described, based upon a specific implementation.
