Cholinesterases Biochemical characteristics and methods for determination of their activity

Abstract

Some biochemical properties of cholinesterases with special reference to the mechanism of substrate hydrolysis are discussed. Laboratory and field test methods for the determination of cholinesterase activity are described as well as the application of these methods in clinical laboratories.
