On the vocabulary of Grabovac's 'Cvit'

Abstract

The author analyzes Grabovac's 'Cvit' to determine:
-which words found in 'Cvit' are not in the Yugoslav Academy Dictionary; -which words are in the Academy Dictionary but with a different meaning from those in 'Cvit';
-which words have first attestations in the Academy Dictionary more recent than 'Cvit'.

He notes the usefulness of analyzing other works of older Croatian literature in this way.
