Abstract
The aim of research was to determine the influence of nitrogen and sulfur rate applied in two topdressings upon the yield and yield components in agro ecological conditions of Podravina. Research was conducted on luvisol typical on sand in location Dinjevac during the 2015/2016 growing season. The trial included three topdressings: 1) Control – 70 kg/ha N (KAN), 2) PETROKEMIJas - 66 kg/ha N and 84 kg/ha S and 3) Topdressing according to soil analysis - 105 kg/ha N (KAN). Applying 105 kg/ha N in the form of KAN, seed yield was significantly increased by 0.68 t/ha as well as the oil yield by 0.21 t/ha compared to the topdressing with 70 kg/ha N (KAN). Sulfur rate (84 kg/ha) with 66 kg/ha N (PETROKEMIJas) did not have significant influence on seed and oil yield. Applying 105 kg/ha N (KAN) and 66 kg/ha N with 84 kg/ha S (PETROKEMIJas) plant high, number of fertile branches and number of siliques per plant were significantly increased compared to the control (70 kg/ha N). Investigated nitrogen and sulfur rate in topdressings did not have statistically significant impact on oil content, silique length, seed number in silique and 1000 seed weight.
