Abstract

Leaf spot of sugar beat causes the highest loses in sugar beat production. As the disease appears each year producers are advised to implement preventional measures to maximally reduce disease intensity. This measures are followed by obligatory fungicidal applications. Succesful disease treatment depends on weather conditions, sugar beat susceptibility and amount of fungal inoculum remaining in the field.
