Abstract

Adverse drug reactions (ADR) associated with antihypertensive drugs are common which makes the selection of the appropriate antihypertensive drug challenging and limits the adherence to medication. It is believed that the adherence to antihypertensive medication is directly related to their ADR. For a good hypertension control, i.e. achieving target values, it is necessary to combine more antihypertensive drugs at the same time, thus increasing the risk of their interactions and the emergence of ADR.
