Abstract

Bias or systematic error which occurs during trials is a heavy load on Evidence based medicine (EBM). Such errors can occur in any trial phase and they can greatly impact the results and credibility of a certain trial or procedure. Various metods exist which can help identify and avoid bias. The use of these metods is highly recommended.
