The occupational history

Abstract
The author emphasises the justified demand that occupational history should be taken into consideration to avoid incorrect diagnosis. In establishing such anamnesis not only the present but also any previous occupations should considered. The occupational history of the patients present occupation should be divided into physical, chemical and constitutional factors. It is further recommended to take an occupational anamnesis after having established the general history·of a disease.
