Abstract

Resistance of pollen beetle population to pyrethroids has become a major european problem since 2006, which is constantly increasing. Due to the importance of the problem, in the paper are presented a short description of the pests, mechanism of resistance, susceptibility test methods and the results of the monitoring of the resistance of pollen beetle to organophosphoric insecticides, piretroids, neonicotinoids and indoxacarb in some european countries including the Republic of Croatia.
