Abstract

Cereal leaf beetles are considered the most important pests of grain cereals and, more recently, corn. Adults and larvae are feed on the leaf and typical symptom of larvae feeding is white narrow strips that are joined if attack is strong. Considering reduced pyrethroid efficacy in the field, five populations of cereal leaf beetle were tested according to the IRAC test method No. 7. All tested populations showed high sensitivity to the active ingredient lambdacyhalothrin.
