Short communication, Note
Measurement of radiation hazards at the Institute of radium therapy
Juraj Körbler
Abstract
Health hazards caused by X- and radium-rays can be traced and measured by means of films, which are simply exposed at various working places. If any such rays penetrate to those places, the films get exposed. The author applied successfully this photographic method of X-ray detection as early as 1931. A similar method of radium-ray detection was introduced in 1942 by British Ministry of Health.
