Abstract

This paper deals with Mary in theological dialogue between
disunited Christians, that is, Mary in the ecumenical theological
perspective. The fundamental sources for this research are four
extremely important theological documents related to the dialogue
on Mary, and these are the following documents: The One
Mediator, the Saints, and Mary (1990); Mary, Mother of the Lord.
Sign of Grace, Faith and Holiness: Towards a Shared Understanding
(1995); Mary in the Plan of God and the Communion of Saints
(1999), and, finally, Mary, Grace and Hope in Christ (2004).These
four documents are essentially the results of the Catholic dialogue
on Mary with representatives of four western church communities
associated with reformation and events associated with it:
Lutherans, Anglicans, Methodists and Protestants. Finally, in
our research and presentation of these four documents it is evident
that they are interconnected and complementary.
