Abstract

The topic of the paper is the career of Academy Member Tomo Bosanac, one of the most prominent Croatian scientists and researchers in the field of electrical engineering. He was full professor of theoretical electrical engineering at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Zagreb. Following World War II, he contributed greatly to the reconstruction of the war-torn country. He was member of the expert committee for establishing the Ruđer Bošković Institute in Zagreb, and member of the committee for the construction of cyclotron at the same Institute. He educated dozens of generations of experts and scientists in the field of electroenergetics.
