Urogenital injuries in Vukovar hospital during the war in Croatia

Abstract
The paper presents 23 urogenital war injuries found among 2,300 to 2,500 wounded (1%). Almost a half of them (43,5%) were injuries to the urinary bladder. There were 39.1% genital and 3 (13.1%) kidney injuries. Finally, one ureteral injury was discovered later. All injuries, with exception of the ureteral one, were treated primarily losing two kidneys only.
