Abstract

There are reported cases 76 of bladder neck sclerosis after endoscopic resection because of BPH. On the material of 2889 this complication apears in 2.63%. Between causal factors, on the first place there is a small »adenoma«, then very extensive resection, more eletroresection then a cold knife technique. Bladder neck ishemia because of baloon cathetlier traction seems not to influence appearing of this complication. Recurrence of the sclerosis comes in 2/3 cases after electroresection. Bladder neck sclerosis mostly is comining in the first year after prostatic resection.
